Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Responsible for the day-to-day sales revenue for television, radio, newspaper and digital platform
• Responsible for the increase of revenue generation utilizing both traditional and new media
• Effectively strategize, build, and execute sales operation plans and budgets
• Responsible for building and maintaining sales operation budgets
• Responsible for reaching monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
• Highly visible to current and potential advertisers in all local market places
• Responsible for ensuring superior relations with clients
• Responsible for maintaining and growing substantial “House” list of accounts and to build strong
relationships at the station level and corporate level.
• Negotiate execute client legal agreements, terms and conditions
• Responsible to generate and deliver monthly and quarterly usage and revenue reports
• Responsible to aggressively grow TV, Radio, Print and Digital ad sales revenue and exceed revenue
goals by prospecting for new clients, making appointments, and consulting 20-25 face-to-face on-site
meetings per week
• Responsible to work with both interactive and traditional advertising agencies; however, the primary
focus will be local direct clients (retail)
• Educate local businesses on the benefits and advantages of advertising on Al Aan Media Group
platform to increase sales
• Create and present dynamic marketing campaigns designed to generate results for local clients
• Create customized client presentations which include market research, qualitative information, and key
selling points
• Work closely with the Group Business Development Director to establish goals, determine strategy,
and grow revenue
• Work closely with the Group Business Development Director to develop new initiatives based on client
needs, new technology, and market events
• Stay current on third party research relevant to the station(s) rating
• Interpret and present qualitative and quantitative market research/data
• Manage clients’ campaigns, evaluate performance, and provide comprehensive campaign recaps
• Be knowledgeable about competitive rates and traffic
• Articulate solutions-oriented sales presentations
• Build relationship and rapport with key accounts while advancing share and maintaining higher rates
along with lengthening account lifecycle
• Present innovative solutions both verbally and written
• Meet or exceed targets and revenue across present and prospective accounts
• Manage and coordinate projects related to key accounts
