Job Description
• Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies;
• Liaising with colleagues and key spokespeople;
• Liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations, often via telephone and email as well as face to face meetings and negotiations;
• Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media;
• Collating and analyzing media coverage;
• Writing and editing in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports;
• Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets,
promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programs;
• Devising and coordinating photo opportunities;
• Organizing events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours;
• Maintaining and updating information on the organization’s website;
• Sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities;
• Commissioning market research;
• Fostering community relations through events such as open days and through involvement in community initiatives;
• Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation. Responsible to ensure all messaging and PR is cohesive and consistent with the client overall messages. This includes, but is not limited to website language, social media and blogs.
• Working across multiple Social media platforms
• Develop and drive day to day online traffic and content management / PR strategy
• Constantly engaged across all social media platforms including, but not limited to facebook, twitter, linked in,
• Development of a set of social media messaging /materials and 3rd party endorsements where necessary for clients
• Brand Partnership: Maintaining and strengthening the Brand Partner relationships in order to establish long term, sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships
• Market Intelligence: Keeps abreast of the latest trend in the market with respect to the Brand and the competition
• Key initiatives: Takes on additional responsibilities/initiatives as and when required by the business
• Functional Relationships with: Operations Team, Marketing Team, Store staff Team, Management team
• Building customer loyalty and brand equity amongst target customers.
• Completing all requisite trainings for staff in product knowledge and sales.
• Complete surveillance of the store for anything out of proper order.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service, professionalism and confidentiality in all communications.
• Enforce Green Bird policies at all times.
• Good communication skills in all spheres.
• Maximize retail sales by using the client database and develop professional relationships with GB clients.
• Perform highly coordinated teamwork with the manager/asst.manager/supervisor to ensure store target is achieved.
• Promoting and increasing awareness of luxury lifestyle retail store etiquette.
• Participating in inventory concerns and duties.
• Supporting morale through championing the organization is the employer of choice including creation and maintaining company newsletter and staff events and training.
• Reporting and analyzing customer needs and general demand of fashion trends
• Reporting Customer Feedback to line manager.
• Scheduling prioritizes optimal use of working hours.
• Support the other departments in achieving their departments goals
